The game is afoot

First the rock must be chosen, examined and approved before it can be tossed.   OK toss it!   No, no...not that far - that is way too far.

That's more like it.  Just toss it into the shallows please.  I'll find it.

And now we examine the rock once more, give it mouth to mouth,  and  a very stern lecture.  Rocks have such a stationery way about them.  This gets quite annoying ,so the rock must be rolled over, and barked at to try and make it move.

And then...well then, we do it all again...and again...and again, because everybody knows games are more fun if you play them over and over.
